“If you’re seeking an expert to create or moderate your next workshop, Necole is your go-to. She has been a key player in three events that I helped organized. I turned to her repeatedly because I can count on her to deliver. At one event, she organized and masterfully facilitated a session on public interest technology that was somewhat tricky because of the tech involved. At another, she helped organize and run a how-to session that participants rated highly. In a third, she helped facilitate a conversation among more than 60 people in a hybrid setting. Necole is highly organized, engaged, thoughtful, reliable and phenomenally competent. Your event will be stronger with her involved.”

“Necole began a short-term project with our team to revamp the tone and language around our work to close the Black and white homeownership gap in this country. She played a lead role in revamping creative assets, content, messaging documents, and webpages to ensure that our language was both consistent and reflective of the systemic barriers for Black families in housing that have stymied their economic opportunities.
Following this initial project, our work together blossomed into a multi-year partnership and included Necole developing a strategic executive visibility plans for our Vice President and Senior Vice President that opened up doors to speaking opportunities at conferences nationwide. Additionally, she is great at identifying opportunities in flight and uncovering approaches to striking while the opportunity is hot. This was clear when she leaned into our Advancing Black Homeownership Exhibit to develop a promotion plan and pitched and had it placed in conferences across the country.
Necole is a visionary and thought leader, which added great value to how we were able to work together to generate big ideas for our team to flag our need for collaboration and be seen as potential partners to further create pathways of change in affordable housing. “

“Necole Norris was a great colleague to work with in our time together. I found her to be sharp and even keeled while maintaining a true sense of what effective storytelling can do. One of those moments was for a project I produced called Creative Resilience. This was a large-scale pop-up art show, discussion and action space focused on mutual aid and economic justice for communities of color.
Necole was instrumental in a few ways on this project, utilizing her communications skills to do something that was clearly a creative endeavor. Among the installations we had for Creative Resilience was a sprawling photo display about workers in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. To put it together meant first doing research on a Top 50 of jobs in LA, which meant digging into census and Bureau of Labor Statistics data among other sources. That information was then used to communicate with, commission, and license works across 7 different photographers who may have poignant images attached to those jobs. Finally, was the selection of the photos that would make it onto the 40-foot wide wall reserved for the display. It was one of the highlights of Creative Resilience.
As if that wasn’t enough, Necole also helped in other ways on the production of this event. Such as doing all of the pre-production work on a panel about the future of the labor movement, anchored by actress Dawn-Lyen Gardner with sample questions, talking points, briefings of other panelists. Necole also worked with other colleagues on the shooting of video interviews of artists and participants in the show which served as great creative content.
It was great to have her as part of this team. “
